Dubai: Al Jalila Foundation announced that it raised Dh1 million for breast cancer research and treatment during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The international health campaign held every October aims to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The events across the UAE drew thousands of people and families including many breast cancer fighters and survivors proving that the community is steadfast in its support for the cause.
