The supplies provided by Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD), were handed over by Emirates Red Crescent to the students at ‘Mrajeeb Al Fhood’ Refugee Camp in Zarqa Governorate, near the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The initiative is aimed supporting Syrian refugee children and bringing a smile on their faces as they head back to school in the new academic year.

A delegation headed by Dr Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of DIHAD, visited the UAE-Jordanian camp to make sure all facilities, including clinics, hospital, school, library, among others are operating properly.

“We aim, through this visit, to give a hand to all the people who are sparing no efforts to provide the best services for the refugees in the camp under the guidance of the UAE leadership,” said Dr Al Madani.

Services offered at the camp cover different fields ranging from education and health to professional services such as a sewing workshop, which Al Madani said, help the camp residents to live a close-to-normal life.

Mohammad Mubarak Al Mansouri, director of the camp thanked the delegation for their visit and help.
