Global Trends Shape Saudi Interiors Event Excellence

The trade show spans eight sectors—from furniture and fit-out services to textiles, art and homeware—reflecting a rich diversity of design disciplines. Its expanded INDEX Design Talks series features more than 80 speakers over three days, structured around themes such as cultural identity, performance-driven design and sustainable innovation. Discussions address pressing topics like AI in creativity, emotional architecture, mega-project design for Expo 2030 and FIFA World Cup 2034, and cultivating Saudi creative talent.
A notable addition this year is the Trend Tours programme—six expertly guided routes through the exhibition. These include the Saudi Made Trail, showcasing national craftsmanship; the Sustainability Trail, emphasising ecological materials and circular design; the Smart Sourcing Tour, highlighting affordable innovation; the Curated Edit Tour, reserved for premium European brands; the Design Disruptors Tour, spotlighting boundary-pushing creativity; and the Lighting Trail, combining product showcases with practical workshops.
Reflecting on the event, Evan Schiff, Portfolio Director of the organiser, stated that INDEX has become the leading meeting point for both global suppliers and the Kingdom’s emerging design stars, aligning with Vision 2030 through its global creativity and support for local, sustainable design. He noted that Saudi Arabia’s interiors sector is evolving rapidly, and the show plays a catalytic role in shaping its future.
