Aramco Digital and Accenture unite for AI-driven skilling in Saudi Arabia

Aramco Digital, the technology subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, has entered into a strategic partnership with Accenture to elevate Saudi Arabia’s digital skilling efforts. This collaboration is centered around advancing generative AI (gen AI) technologies and building a digitally adept workforce, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify the Kingdom's economy and reduce its dependence on oil.

The core of this partnership lies in the deployment of Accenture's LearnVantage, an AI-native platform designed to assess skills gaps, offer personalized learning, and provide certifications. This platform is tailored to equip the Saudi workforce with a robust understanding of foundational and specialized AI skills. The integration of Arabic and English language trainers ensures that the program caters to a diverse demographic within the Kingdom.

Tareq Amine, CEO of Aramco Digital, emphasized that the collaboration with Accenture will prepare Saudi Arabia to lead the gen AI transformation. With this initiative, Aramco Digital aims to establish itself as the largest provider of generative AI services in the region, positioning the Kingdom at the forefront of technological advancement.

Omar Boulos, CEO of Accenture Middle East, highlighted the importance of transforming Saudi Arabia into a hub of digital talent, underlining that this partnership will shape the skills of the future. Accenture's LearnVantage platform will play a critical role in not only developing AI proficiency but also ensuring the responsible use of this technology.
