Dnata Secures Major Contract to Service Lufthansa Group at Amsterdam Airport

Dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, has secured a significant new partnership with Lufthansa Group at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). This agreement will see Dnata provide its comprehensive passenger and ramp services to four of Lufthansa Group's airlines – Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, and Air Dolomiti. This collaboration is expected to enhance the travel experience for an estimated 1. 6 million passengers flying on 7, 300 flights annually between Amsterdam and key European destinations.

The Lufthansa Group airlines involved in the deal operate a combination of narrow-body Airbus and Embraer aircraft, connecting passengers between Amsterdam and Frankfurt and Munich in Germany, Zurich in Switzerland, and Vienna in Austria.

Dnata continuously invests in infrastructure, equipment, and technology to strengthen its offerings at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Alongside the ongoing construction of Dnata Cargo City Amsterdam, a world-class facility, the company recently acquired a fleet of electric Smart Cars. This initiative aims to replace all diesel vehicles used for airside operations at the airport. As a result of this commitment to sustainability, over 65% of Dnata's 250 ground support equipment (GSE) units in the Netherlands are now electric or powered by solar energy.

Dnata currently boasts a strong presence at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, providing ground and cargo handling services for 37 airlines. The company's dedicated team of 1, 000 aviation professionals manages a significant volume of traffic, handling approximately 10, 000 flights and moving 550, 000 tonnes of cargo annually.
